About Education Analytics
We use data to help you make better decisions on policies and programs that lead to school and student success.
In 2012, we started as an outgrowth of Dr. Rob Meyer's work on school and educator effectiveness at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
We’ve been expanding ever since.
Today we’re a non-profit organization working across the country to solve tough problems with real and actionable solutions. Our passion and curiosity drive us to enact changes that improve education systems for all students.
Why We’re Here
Shifting political and resource landscapes can make it tough for education systems to make good decisions and implement effective programs.
We believe it can be easier.
Our work clears the confusion of decision-making with data-informed recommendations that take the guesswork out of important decisions. Plus, we’re here to help you and your stakeholders understand our work and get the most out of it.
We want to help you:
- Ask the right questions when developing metrics.
- Add advanced analytics capabilities of your district or state.
- Bring objectivity to processes and systems that are sometimes clouded by subjectivity.
- Advocate for meaningful change.
We’re Optimists Who Like to Dream Big
We've experienced the challenges in making change happen in districts and states. These challenges aren't small. But we believe they aren’t insurmountable, either.
We’re organized, goal-driven, and use project management as a key tool. We balance these disciplines with a passion for improving education for students. This combination gives us the capability to create new metrics and help you implement meaningful change.
Working with Us
Working with EA is like working at EA. That means you’ll have full access to our team, and the work we do. We love our work and like to talk about it. You’ll know what we’re up to and have easy ways to participate in the process.
We know many of our analytical models are complex. Even the best and most accurate analysis falls flat when it’s confusing or not used the right ways. We’ll work with you to make everything we do clear and understandable to everyone.
We want to empower you to be informed and discerning data consumers. We get excited about the work we do and are enthusiastic about the changes it brings to education.
We think you’ll like working with us. We can’t wait to get started.
